Injustice 2: Raiden Now Available for Download

Injustice 2 fans rejoice, as Mortal Kombat alumni Raiden will be available for download now to those that purchased the Ultimate Edition of the game. Fans that download the characters one by one can get the fighter on October 6, which isn't too far off. Those that don't like the Mortal Kombat character can also switch to his Black Lightning skin, which is immediately available to those that bought the Ultimate Edition.

Raiden's inclusion was controversial since he was a Mortal Kombat character in a DC fighting game. What didn't help was Jim Lee's terrible character redesign, which outraged a lot of fans. The game does have plenty of customizable gear though, so those that don't like his look can always change it up with these.

While he might not be the most beloved Injustice 2 character, there's no denying that he has an absolutely fantastic finisher. Bringing his opponent to the Nether Realm, he electrocutes his foe until he/she are up in the air, before turning into the Mortal Kombat dragon and ending the fight. Fans are just curious as to how the Black Lightning version of the finisher looks like since he has no business being in the Nether Realm.

Injustice 2 is available now on the PS4 and Xbox One. Raiden is the second character in Fighter Pack #2, the first one being Black Manta. Hellboy is the last character of the DLC pack and it looks like he will be coming out in November.
