Game of Thrones Pop-up Bar Offers Book-Based Drinks

Have you ever wanted to know what the Imp's Delight or the Myrish fire wine would taste like as described in Game of Thrones? Then you need not look further than the basement of Daylight Robbery in Dublin Street.

Every Wednesday and Thursday until February, there's a Blood & Wine pop-up bar that lets fans experience what it's like to taste some of the wines, as described and detailed in George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire books.

According to BuzzFeed, the bar is run by The Pop Up Geeks, and it aims to deliver all things Game of Thrones until the end of February. Here are some of the teaser drinks that The Pop Up Geeks have teased over the official Facebook.

If the wines and spirits aren't enough, you can also get in the groove of Game of Thrones with the many paraphernalia and props harking back to the HBO Original series. Jon Snow's Longclaw, the steel shields, and countless insignias—not to mention medieval music—will make you feel what it's like to be intoxicated by and in the world of Game of Thrones.

If there was any place a Game of Thrones fan would like to satiate their need to be inebriated, this would have to be it. Franchises inspired by Game of Thrones aren't exactly a new thing. Just recently, HBO has partnered with Vintage Wine Estates to create the official wine line for the series. That's a good alternative if you can't make it to Dublin Street in time—or if you prefer to make your own drink and sip at your own time.
