Game of Thrones Music & Tour Visuals Hark Back to an Old Arya Theory

Music plays as much a role as wine in Game of Thrones. The swelling melody or the inspiring beats can color a scene much more sometimes than mere dialogue. And now that composer Ramin Djawadi has released an artist's rendition of Light of the Seven for the upcoming Game of Thrones concert tour, it pretty much jives with how fans have pictured the visuals to be.

In an interview with Huffington Post, Djawadi shared that his rendition will feature visuals and lighting effects that give the impression of wildfire. This would be quite a spectacle to see, even more so if you are familiar with the theory that broke out last year.

All of the theories are pointing to one character: Arya. They're either hearing her vocals in the song, her name being chanted, or getting that ominous sense of Arya's big return and revenge on King's Landing.

When he heard the theory, Djawadi explained that the sound was actually Valyrian in nature, sounding more "Ah ya" than Arya. Still, that doesn't mean he didn't find the theory interesting.

"I should've lied and said, ‘Yes, they're saying Arya.' I should use that actually. I didn't think of that."

Djawadi is also in charge of doing the work for the logistics of the Game of Thrones concert to prepare fans for the season 7 premiere. For the concert, viewers will be treated to a six-hour concert, and one that will pretty much be a journey from the first to the latest season.

"We're trying in a clever way with montages and taking key scenes and key moments, so it really takes you through all the six seasons."

The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience will kick off on Feb. 15 in Kansas City and hold its last show on April 2 in Portland. There will be a total of 28 shows all over North America.

Game of Thrones will be back summer this year.
