First Gameplay Stream For Star Wars Battlefront II Will Bring Us To Naboo

A lot of fans are excited for the release of Star Wars Battlefront II later this year, and EA has promised us out first look at the gameplay this coming June 10. Since the game is promising to cover multiple eras in the franchise, players can expect to return to places in the prequels, and EA has just teased the return to Naboo.

The assault on Theed is basically the climax of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and includes four major battles taking place — Padme's assault at the palace on Nute Gunray, the Gungans versus the droid army, little Anakin and their attack on the Trade Federation command ship, and the lightsaber duel between Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul.

That's a lot of ground to cover! And it's the perfect way to showcase all the different battle modes available in the game. You have space battles with Anakin, regular assault with Padme, and lightsaber fighting with Maul. I know it may be a stretch, but I'd still like to take control of some droids and shoot down some crazy Gungans.

A lot of people are very excited for this game since the first Battlefront was considered to be "incomplete" by a lot of players. Besides the amazing graphics and sounds, the game barely had any content, and a lot of cool stuff had to be bought via DLC.

Let's hope Star Wars Battlefront II lives up to the hype when it comes out Nov. 17.
