Star Wars Battlefront II: More Leaked Footage From The Coming Teaser

Just recently, we got some leaked footage from EA's upcoming gameplay debut for Star Wars Battlefront II. Though the official clip will be released in June 10, some more clips have managed to leak online from the game thanks to Unreal SjS on Youtube.

Besides the footage of Inferno Squadron on Tantive IV, we also get to see more of Palpatine's messengers — dubbed Sentinels — from the first trailer. These characters were introduced in the Shattered Empire comic, and they are droids that are programmed to serve Palpatine even after his death.

Besides that, we get to see more of Iden Versio's "backpack" droid in action, and it looks like it will be able to unlock doors as well as attack enemies in the battlefield. There's also some clips of the motion-capture work being done for the game.

Though they may not have appeared in the movie, I can very well see the Inferno Squadron helping Vader abduct the Tantive IV before the climactic "Hallway Scene" from Rogue One. The beauty of these games is their ability to fill in the blanks in the lore, and with the first Battlefront barely covering Rogue One, I'd like to see a return to Scarif with a bit more fire. Give us a playable Chirrut Imwe, DICE!

Gameplay footage for Star Wars Battlefront II is set to be revealed on June 10. The game comes out Nov. 17.
