Deadpool's Cameo in Logan Debunked

It turns out those rumors about Deadpool popping up in Logan aren't true after all.

Yesterday, word that a possible team-up between Deadpool and Wolverine began to spread after insiders told The Wrap that they picked up on a scene with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds in the third and final Wolverine solo film directed by James Mangold.

Now, Mangold, Reynolds and Logan star Hugh Jackman have all gone out of their way to debunk the rumors by confirming that Deadpool would not be making any cameos in the film.

Tweeting early this morning, Mangold gave out a series of strong responses against the rumors spread by The Wrap. In one of his Tweets the director called the publication the Breitbart of show biz, saying that the news they gave was full of baloney and that Deadpool definitely wouldn't be in the film.

Reynolds also confirmed the falsity of the reports, indicating that Wolverine would be going solo in Logan. Jackman later on chimed in to deny the rumors as well.

While The Wrap isn't known for giving unreliable scoops, the trio's responses against the rumors are too strong to counter. Looks like fans won't be getting a Deadpool-Wolverine pair-up after all.
