Could That Be Captain Marvel Secretly Hiding In The New Avengers: Infinity War Trailer?

Marvel Studios dropped a new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War during the Super Bowl game last Sunday, and it seems like eagle-eyed fans spotted what might be a spoiler for the first installment of Marvel's two-part Avengers movie event.

Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo may have previously told fans that Brie Larson wouldn't be making her debut as Captain Marvel in their upcoming Avengers movie, but it looks like a few fons have managed to spot Carol Danver's iconic suit hiding just behind Captain America.

Fans on Twitter have spotted a figure walking behind Captain America (Chris Evans) in the short teaser released during the NFL game between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles, and the suit of the mystery character looks very, very familiar.

Though the full figure of the character walking behind Cap seems to be completely obscured, fans can catch a brief glimpse of blue, red and gold – the colors of the high flying Captain Marvel. That or the figure is actually Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), which would make sense considering that Wanda would want to walk next to her new beau, Vision (Paul Bettany).

We'll just have to wait and see before making any assumptions.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres on May 4, 2018. Its sequel, Avengers 4 hits cinemas May 3, 2019.
