New Avengers: Infinity War Art Features Thanos’ Black Order

Marvel fans are definitely having a good week. Not only has Marvel dropped an exciting new teaser for the first installment in its two-part Avengers movie event during the recent Superbowl game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England patriots, but it seems like a German magazine cover's given fans their first look at Thanos' Black Order in Infinity War.

Two of the Children of Thanos, Ebony Maw and Proxima Midnight, can be seen looming in the background in an illustrated cover for Panini Vorschau, a German magazine. Beneath them are the Earth's mightiest hereoes – theres' Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and all the other major players in Infinity War's massive roster.

Thanos' Black Order look intimidating with their scars and their glares, though the group is a relatively new addition even in the Marvel Comic Universe. The Children of Thanos were first introduced in 2013 in Jonathan Hickman, Jerome Pena and Jim Cheung's Infinity comic book series. Grouped together by the Mad Titan, the Black Order goes around demanding tributes from different worlds, and the team is expected to arrive on Earth searching for the Infinity Stones for Thanos.

Infinity War premieres on May 4, 2018.
