Chris Evans And Chris Hemsworth Have Unfollowed GOTG Director James Gunn On Twitter

It looks like Marvel stars Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth have just recently unfollowed Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn on Twitter.

The cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise might have gathered together to show support for Gunn after Marvel decided to fire the filmmaker for offensive and inappropriate tweets made fourteen years ago, but it looks like not everyone in the MCU roster feels the same way.

Marvel fans on Twitter have just recently discovered that Captain America actor Chris Evans and Thor actor Chris Hemsworth have both quietly unfollowed Gunn on the social media platform, and the Marvel star's actions have pleased those against the "Re-Hire James Gunn" movement.

Sure, the filmmaker might have gained some strong support from quite a number of fans, friends, and Hollywood celebrities, but there have also been a group of others who think that Gunn should pay for the old jokes that he made online. Some just don't believe that they can support Gunn, even if he claims that he's changed in the fourteen-year gap between now and when the jokes were actually made.

Of course, while it might seem quite easy for fans to jump to conclusions seeing Hemsworth and Evans unfollow Gunn, everyone should remember that the Marvel actors still haven't given the reason behind their decision to unfollow the filmmaker on Twitter. Sure it might be because of the controversy surrounding Gunn right now, but maybe the Marvel stars' actions could have been influenced by something behind-the-scenes. Who knows really.
