Blade Runner 2049 Offers New Posters Of Harrison Ford And Ryan Gosling

There's a lot of excitement for Blade Runner 2049. Though the upcoming neo-noir science fiction film may still have three months to wait till it sees release on the big screen, Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment has been starting to work on the film's marketing campaign.

Not only have the studios prepared a new trailer to run before every Alien: Covenant screening this May, they've also begun releasing new posters for the film. Featuring the leads of the Blade Runner sequel, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford get two very contrasting backdrops. While Ford's character Rick Deckard finds himself shuffling across a wasteland with a rumbling head behind him, Goslings' character Officer K walks across a cold wintry place.

Check out the posters down here:

As usual the images don't really tell much about the film's plot, however the contrasting color scheme may hint at differences between Rick and Officer K's personalities.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who's been missing for 30 years.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Gosling, Ford, Edward James Olmos, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto, Blade Runner 2049 is slated for release on October 6, 2017.
