Birds of Prey to Wrap Filming This April

News had recently come out that DCEU's Birds of Prey was already halfway through production, and now news has it that the film is ready to wrap early next month.

According to HN Entertainment, Birds of Prey is expected to complete filming on April 13. The movie had started production in January, and a lot of people are worrying that things are wrapping up too fast. It's worth noting that unlike Aquaman or Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey is a more street-level film. We're still expecting to see comic book action and characters, but don't expect to see anything that's too much of a spectacle.

Based on what we've seen from the set, we know that Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) is at the center of the film. With the movie dealing with her break up with the Joker, I'm curious if Jared Leto's Joker is making an appearance in the movie.

With the movie set to wrap soon, I'm expecting we'll get out first look sometime around July—close to the San Diego Comic-Con 2019.

Here's the official synopsis for Birds of Prey:

Birds of Prey will see Harley Quinn team up with DC Comics heroines Huntress and Black Canary against Batman antagonist Black Mask to save a young Cassandra Cain from his grasp.

Catch Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) in theaters Feb. 7, 2020.
