George Lucas’ version of Star Wars is flawless, at least for most people. One might think there’s nothing that can surpass it, but a group of artists over at CG+ have attempted to recreate the galaxy far, far away in a new collection of photos. And they’re dam near perfect, maybe even better than the current Star Wars.
Included in their “Star Wars: Re-imagined” series, the photos include both 2D and 3Drecreations.
The photos are part of CG+’s contestwhere artists must re-imagine their favorite Star Wars moment or thing into something else that they see fit. While most of these artists are amateurs (though they don’t seem to be), some are professionals, so it’s no wonder that the visuals are spectacular.

There are literally dozens, if not hundreds of photos to go through, so I can’t say which one is best. Although, from the photos above, my favorite would have to be Cyber Punk Darth Maul. It’s just so badass. I can imagine having these recreations as wallpaper already.
