Aquaman Concept Art Spotted, Teases Possible Game

Videogame tie-ins for movies aren't uncommon. If anything, these are a great way to either promote the movie or extend the lore even after it leaves theaters.

The latest movie that may find its game counterpart is Aquaman. WWG spotted a leaked image at EipixCon, wherein Eipix Entertainment had reportedly showcased the new image.

The image shows Jason Momoa's Aquaman, complete with flowing locks, tattoos, and his King of Atlantis costume. His trident is the interesting five-pronged shape. It also features the logo of Aquaman, as well as a backdrop of Atlantis and some water friends. Arthur Curry seems to be lording over all the fishes in the sea, including a very large shark behind him.

The concept art alone doesn't really explain what kind of game it will be. And this concept art alone is not a confirmation that the game will actually be released. However, seeing as how Aquaman has not really been given justice in the gaming world, the developer would definitely be doing the right thing anchoring it to Momoa's take on the character. When else can you see Aquaman being a total badass?

Aquaman will be out in theaters on Oct. 5. It will be directed by James Wan and stars Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, and Patrick Wilson.
