At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, fans of the popular anime/card game franchise Yu-Gi-Oh! were treated to a teaser for the 2016 film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions.
Now, we got a full trailer of the film that was released in Japan on Friday. The film is set six months after the events of the manga, and features Yugi Moto and friends facing a new threat in the form of a mysterious boy. We also see their favorite summons: Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Yugi Moto's Dark Magician. Here's the summary from Shonnen Jump:
In the past YÅ«gi Yami and Kaiba have clashed many times!! Yami YÅ«gi, who resides in YÅ«gi MutÅ's body, and Kaiba will have a duel that bets their prides and accepts each other's mutual experience.
Fans can pre-order tickets to Dark Side of Dimensions starting Saturday. Those who pre-order will get one of the special edition cards, a "Blue Eyes White Dragon" card limited to 200,000 copies. According to Anime News Network.The card is one of a series of special-edition cards which will be releasedthroughout 2016.
The film opens in April 23 in Japan, and will head to U.S. later in 2016.
