Warner Bros. has released its latest promo for Suicide Squad, and in keeping up with the European men’s football championship tournament that is Euro 2016, the new Suicide Squad ad reveals Warner Bros.’ U.K. division players.
Naturally, it shows all the villains in the forthcoming DCEU movie including Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Slipknot (Adam Beach), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Katana (Karen Fukuhara).
What surprised me though is the inclusion of Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) in the team. I suppose she isn’t really playing. From the character’s headstrong personality, I’m assuming she’ll be the squad’s coach, as she is their leader in the movie.

It would be fun actually seeing them play.
While this promo isn’t a preview of what we’ll be seeing in the movie, it probably shows the playful and comedic tone that’s been rumored of the film. Even though Jai Courtney has explained previously that the recent Suicide Squad reshoots aren’t because of making the film funnier, it seems that from the promos, the movie will be a lot more humorous than expected.
We’ll see how that goes when Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5.
