See Batman and Superman Actually Fighting in Awesome New Dawn of Justice Footage

The highlight of Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the major showdown between the two superheroes, but the trailers and promotions for the movie haven't showed much in terms of Batman and Superman actually fighting. Now, new footage from the highly anticipated film has been released showcasing what many fans have been waiting for.

The fight scene was released via Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and it showed Batman having big problems. Gotham City’s vigilante can be seen getting knocked down by Superman through and atop a high-rise building. Batman doesn’t give up though. He tries his best to fire something at Superman, but to no avail.

Check out the awesome footage below:

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is about to release in theaters in a few weeks, but it’s still amusing to see what the film might have in store.

From the new footage, it appears Batman/Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) did something to upset Superman/Clark Kent (Henry Cavill). Knowing the plot of Dawn of Justice, Wayne will likely see the Man of Steel more as a threat than a protector.

While the new footage shows Superman packing a punch, based on the final Batman v Superman trailer, Batman hasn’t laid out all his cards yet. He could even be gauging how much of a threat or how strong Superman really is.

Many have high expectations for Dawn of Justice, a movie that’s set as a launch pad for future DC Extended Universe films. I’m hoping that the film doesn’t fall short on those expectations.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released to theaters on March 25.
