New Magic: The Gathering Video Explains Why Ikoria is A Worldbuilding Masterclass

The Magic: The Gathering set Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths introduces a brand new plane filled with huge and unique monsters, triomes, and wonderful crystals that make this world fantastic. There's surely plenty to be inspired by the worldbuilding of one of Magic's most innovative planes. YouTuber Building Better Dungeons has released a video titled Ikoria: A Worldbuilding Masterclass to give us an in-depth look at the brilliance of Wizards of the Coast's fantasy world-building of Ikoria. The video takes a dive at the lore of Savai and Snapdax, Indatha and Nethroi, Zagoth and Brokkos, Raugrin and Vadrok, Ketria and Illuna, and even the Skysail and Lavabrink. He explains that Ikoria is more like the world of Pokemon instead of the world of kaijus. The city of Drannith, the largest sanctuary of humans in Ikoria, reminds me of Attack on Titan. I like the point the video points out  about Skysail - I wish that it was more prevalent in the cards.
