First Ghost in the Shell Teaser Shows Scarlett Johansson in Action

On Monday morning, Paramount has announced that the first full trailer for the live-action Ghost in the Shell film is coming on November 13, 2016. The announcement came in the form of a 13-second teaser that shows Scarlett Johansson as The Major in action. She fights a thug while completely invisible, and starts to appear, then the date is revealed.

Using the technology imbued in her cyborg parts, Major gives a thug a sharp uppercut - while completely invisible. She starts to emerge from her invisibility and walks toward the camera, and the date is revealed. The word "Tokyo" also appears in the clip because the trailer will premiere at the special event there.

The scene was made more spectacular with the splashing of water, which reminds me of the anime's cool visual action.

Last week, it was revealed which storylines from the anime inspired the film's plot
