2021 is going to be an exciting year for Magic: The Gathering. Wizards of the Coast already revealed the unique Magic sets coming in 2021: Kaldheim, Strixhaven,  Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures of the Forgotten Realms, Innistrad: Vampires, and Innistrad: Werewolves. Not much has been revealed about these upcoming expansions, but fans are already wondering what their stories will be about. Who's the next big villain?  What are the Gatewatch planeswalkers up to? Wizards already shared a few details about the first 2021 set, Kaldheimhow Kaya will be central to the story, and how it will most likely center around the gods of the Norse mythology-inspired plane, but with Nicol Bolas gone, who or what will be the biggest threat in the Magic multiverse?

Lorebrarians recently released a YouTube video that predicts the future of Magic's story that the 2021 sets will develop. Based on the video, Kasmina, leader of the interplananar secret Order of Planeswalkers, a shadowy cabal with mysterious aims, could be the center of the main story. The video predicts that she will return in Strixhaven, the most elite university for mages of the multiverse, and although there's not a lot of details provided about her background with just two cards depicting her, she might have a significant role in the future of Magic's story. The YouTuber also predicts that Phyrexians will return as primary antagonists, and points out flavor text and art from several Magic cards to show us that they could become the biggest threat of the multiverse again.

What do you thinka about these predictions? Do you think Kasmina will have a major role in the future of Magic's story? Do you think the Phyrexians will return to start a war against the Gatewatch or Kasmina's secret organization? Let us know your predictions in the comments section below.
