Cobra Kai star Jacob Bertrand may be a karate bully in the popular Netflix series, but in an episode of Command Zone's Game Knights, he's a spellslinging planeswalker who clearly enjoys playing Magic: The Gathering

Bertrand, who plays Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz in Cobra Kai, is playing Koma, Cosmos Serpent as his Commander, a seven-to-cast Simic colored (blue/green) legendary Serpent that lets you create a 3/3 blue Serpent creature token named Koma's Coil. It also lets you sacrifice another Serpent to either tap target permanent and disabling it from activating its activated abilities, or make Koma indestructible until end of turn. Oh, did I mention that it can't be countered?

It's amusing to watch the Cobra Kai star play one of the new Kaldheim Commander decks. His Serpent Commander is fitting too since he's one of the most prominent members of the Cobra Kai dojo in the show. He even explains how the new Foretell mechanic from Kaldheim works. The Foretell token even features a bird figure so it's definitely fitting for Hawk.

The most epic part of this Commander battle is when the Cobra Kai actor also unleashes a big attack with his Koma and an army of Serpent tokens. Watch the video from Command Zone below:

It's not surprising to see Bertrand play Magic: The Gathering. We've already seen a photo of him playing Magic with his co-star, Gianni DeCenzo. Even Magic World Champion Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa shared that photo on Twitter:

I'm even more impressed with Cobra Kai now 😂
