Hear Alan Rickman's Voice In The New 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' TV Spot

Alan Rickman may be dead, but his voice lives on in a new Alice Through The Looking Glass teaser released via Twitter Tuesday. Watch it out below:

“You’ve been gone too long, Alice,” Rickman can be heard saying in the teaser.

The British film and theater veteran, who played a wide variety of roles in different movie realms, died at the age of 69 on January 14.

Alice Through The Looking Glass is the last film role of the late British actor, who reprised his character as Absolem the Caterpillar. The teaser also featured different quick scenes from the film showing other actors like Mia Wasikowska (Alice), Helena Bonham Carter (the Queen of Hearts), Sacha Baron Cohen (Time).

The film is a sequel to the 2010 hit, Alice in Wonderland, released in 2010. It is helmed by James Robin and the script was written by Linda Woolverton.

Other actors returning to their roles are Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter), Anne Hathaway (the White Queen), and Rhys Ifans (the Mad Hatter’s father).

While Rickman perfectly portrayed countless characters in film, my personal favorite is his depiction of Severus Snape in the Harry Potter franchise. I don’t think any other actor would have  been able to give the character justice, and the same goes for Absolem.

I can’t wait to see Alice Through The Looking Glass when it’s released on May 27, 2016.
