The wait for The Bad Batch Episode 5 has truly been worth it. Rampage has just brought back some memorable Star Wars characters and it could connect everything to the original film trilogy.

The fifth episode of The Bad Batch is titled Rampage and there is a good reason for that. The episode starts off with Hunter being determined to find out who had hired Fennec Shand to retrieve Omega. This leads them to Ord Mantell to get in touch with the Jedi informant Cid, who Echo had known previously.
Cid doesn't know anything about Fennec but promises to get information for Clone Force 99 in exchange for their help. She asks the team to rescue a child named Muchi who has been kidnapped by slavers and in return, they will be greatly rewarded by none other than Jabba the Hutt.
The Bad Batch doesn't waste time in fighting the slavers but they are surprised when it is revealed that Muchi is actually a young Rancor. Muchi is immediately taken by Jabba's right-hand man Bib Fortuna and Cid shares some of the reward with Hunter.
Unfortunately, Cid doesn't get any information about Shand. Nevertheless, she offers to give the Bad Batch more mercenary work in the future. In the meantime, it looks like we'll have to wait until next week to find out who is trying to get their hands on Omega.
