Lucifer Season 6 introduced a new character named Rory (Brianna Hildebrand) in the recent episodes. And the major shocker surrounding Rory is that she happens to be Lucifer and Chloe's daughter from the future.

But this is not all, Rory has some major abandonment issues because of her dad and the fact that Lucifer left her on Aug. 4.

At first, Lucifer and Chloe were surprised to learn that they are parents to a girl that took after her dad – that is because she has her own set of wings. And she has also a strong character.

Rory was dead set on killing Lucifer, but before she could even do anything that she could later regret, her mom and dad tried everything to prove her wrong.

Lucifer wanted Rory to know that he didn't leave her for no reason at all. Instead, he was on a mission to help everyone he knows to make it from Hell to Heaven.

But before this was revealed to Rory, the teen angel with a sharp tongue was abducted by Dan's kidnapper, Le Mec (Rob Benedict).

Le Mec was keen on killing Lucifer, and he knew exactly how he could get it done. So, he kidnapped Rory with the help of his cohorts, and they also tried to get rid of Rory's wings by pulling them off.

But in true Lucifer fashion, Lucifer and Chloe arrived at the warehouse where their daughter was being kept. They defeated Le Mec, but Chloe was shot in the process.

Chloe was still alive in the scene, and she was the one that fired a shot at Le Mec that ultimately killed him. Lucifer, Chloe, and Rory finally reunited.

However, this isn't where Lucifer Season 6 ended.

In the finale, Lucifer went back to Hell because he knew that he and Chloe would reunite 20 years later.

Prior to the reunion, Lucifer worked as a therapist. And one day, while he was busy doing his business, someone knocked on Lucifer's door in Hell and it was Chloe.

Chloe passed away tragically on Earth, and the couple finally reunited in the end.

While anything is possible in Lucifer and Chloe's world, it seems that a reunion between the beloved characters is out of the question for now.

After all, Lucifer was able to tie all its loose ends from all six seasons. And they were also able to give fans a satisfying ending where Lucifer and Chloe are together forever.

Not to mention, Lucifer was canceled at least three times. But it still managed to make a comeback pretty much like all of Lucifer's resurrections!
