The forbidden love between a human and a vampire transcends them all in the story of Bella and Edward in the Twilight series and when it was released in theaters, everyone was flocking the cinemas just to see the movie-making it one of the most successful book-to-screen adaptations, however, will there be another one after the years that passed?
Will There Be Another Twilight Movie?
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb," how romantic, isn't it? Bella and Edward made sure that they make everyone fall in love with their story, every sequel released became a sure blockbuster. All five films are successful in their own rights taking home a total of $3.3 billion at the box office making it one of the most-watched young adult franchises in existence.
The saga has five films: Twilight in 2008, The Twilight Saga: New Moon in 2009, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in 2010, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 in 2011, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in 2012. Of all these films, the last movie Breaking Dawn Part 2 garnered the highest box office revenue of all five.
When all the five films were released on Netflix, it easily filled half of the top ten, proving how many are still invested in the story of the human and the vampire who fell in love and how their future was intertwined in a twisted call of fate. A love that knows no bounds, they fought together until the end.
The whole franchise is based on the books of Stephenie Meyer, author of the book series of the same names as that of the film titles, and if you're an avid fan, you know there is another book left untranslated into film and that is Midnight Sun, released just August last year and it retells Twilight in the point-of-view of Edward.

Will Twilight: Midnight Sun Still Happen?
To date, there is no confirmation yet whether there would be a Midnight Sun movie but if and when it will happen, the chance of having Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would be back as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan is slim considering how much both of them despise their role and they already aged to look like ageless vampires.
With Pattinson busy being The Batman coming next year and Stewart slaying independent films, their schedules are surely tight. The director of Twilight, Catherine Hardwicke, shared to ET that it would be difficult for her to re-do the film from the perspective of Edward since they stayed in Bella's head most of the time and therefore, Midnight Sun would be another film, different than that of Twilight.
