Westworld 2.0 Graces Cover of Entertainment Weekly

Westworld was one of the more ambitious shows to come out of HBO back in 2016, and though the show didn't release a season last year, it is coming back this 2018. We've been getting a few teasers here and there, and now Entertainment Weekly has given us a cover featuring our favorite female hosts, Dolores and Maeve.

The last season saw Maeve almost escaping the park, but then choosing to stay after it was revealed to her that all her seemingly independent actions have been set for her. Dolores, on the other hand, still remains in the park, but has gotten a hold of a gun and has shot park creator Ford (Anthony Hopkins) in front of a bunch of scared people.

We don't know exactly where the second season will take us, but the last episode did tease the possible extension of Westworld which will bring park guests to Feudal Japan. It only makes sense since the original movie also featured themed worlds other than the Wild West like Roman World and Medieval World.

Just like Game of Thrones delayed the release of their final season by a year to compensate for high-quality production, I hope that Westworld 2 manages to build upon the fascinating sci-fi questions that were brought up by the first season.

Westworld 2 hits HBO April 22.
