Warner Brothers Reportedly Bringing Gal Gadot And Wonder Woman 1984 Footage To SDCC 2018

DC fans might be in for a treat this year. Now that Walter Hamada is leading DC films, it looks like things are changing for the better.

According to Deadline, plans to bring the DC Extended Universe's Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot to Hall H at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International are being finalized. Word has it that the DCEU star won't just be fielding questions from her eager fans, she'll also be bringing with her a brand new look at Wonder Woman 1984.

Though we're not quite entirely sure what kind of material Gadot's going to bring to the convention, it certainly sounds like Warner Bros. is doing some early campaigning for Wonder Woman 1984. Which isn't a surprise, of course. Though the DCEU has struggled to get its footing with films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, Patty Jenkin's Wonder Woman standalone film has been a ray of light.

Of course, while there's been a log of anticipation building up over Wonder Woman 1984, fans attending the convention shouldn't expect too much from the sequel. Warner Bros. would probably also want to hype other projects closer to its release like Shazam! and of course, Aquaman. Let's just wait and see what comes up.

Aquaman makes its big premiere on December 21.
