Venom Production Insider Information Reveals How Peter Parker Could Appear In Film


Spider-Man might not be a part of Sony's upcoming Venom spinoff, but there have been rumors that Marvel's Tom Holland might appear in the film as Peter Parker.

Fans have been wondering how connected Sony's Spider-Man films would be with the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Spider-Man: Homecoming. Though both studios have worked out a great deal where Marvel gets to use Spider-Man in their films, Sony gets to keep the movie profits, and Marvel gets to keep merchandising profits, fans wonder whether Sony'd let Peter Parker play in the same sandbox as Tom Hardy's Venom. After all, what kind of Venom movie would be complete without even a little bit of Spider-Man?

Though the rumors have yet to be confirmed, Screen Rant has a new tidbit that might tell fans what specific scene the Peter Parker cameo will come in. According to the publication, a source provided them with information that a scene which featured Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) leading a field trip inside an Atlanta Building which serves as Venom's Life Foundation.

The source might not have had any opportunity to see Holland on set, but the filming of the scene took place on private property, rising suspicion that the production might be hiding the Marvel star somewhere in there.

Could Peter Parker really go on a field trip all the way to San Francisco?
