Tom Holland Wants Venom in The MCU

After the second trailer changed everyone's minds about Sony's Venom movie, fans are hoping to see Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock in the MCU. While Kevin Feige said that the film would be set in its own universe, rumors have been circulating about a cameo from Tom Holland, which might bring the character into direct collision with Spider-Man.

Turns out that Holland wants that encounter to happen too. While he didn't confirm the rumor about his cameo in the spin-off, Holland did express interest in Venom coming to the MCU.

During Ace Comic-Con (via ComicBook.com), Holland was asked about which Spider-Man villain he would like to see in the MCU. After some hesitation, Holland said he would like to see Eddie Brock's dark alter-ego take on Spidey.

Venom is one of Spider-Man's most iconic villains, so it's easy to see why people want to see him in the MCU. Add the excitement surrounding the upcoming film, not to mention the great cast already in the movie, and Kevin Feige could change his mind about the anti-hero coming to the MCU, assuming the movie does well with critics and the box office.

Venom makes its big premiere on October 5, 2018.
