Venom Home Release Includes Extended Post-Credits Sequence

Venom might still be on its theatrical run in cinemas, but it looks like the special features of the upcoming home release of the film have already been leaked online. Along with it is a complete list of deleted and extended scenes taken from the first installment of Sony's Universe Of Marvel Characters.

Thanks to TrailerTrack.com, fans now have the full details of Venom's upcoming home release. Taken from a German listing, the details of the home release include home video special features, two deleted scenes, and what seems to be an extended post-credits scene that runs for more than three minutes on video.

But that's not all. Venom's upcoming home release includes even more special features like six behind-the-scenes featurettes, music videos for the two songs that were composed by Eminem and Post Malone for the film's soundtrack, as well as eight scenes without the CGI version of Venom in many of the major action sequences in the movie.

While all these little treats sound pretty exciting, one of the features that stands out the most is the three-minute-long post-credits sequence in Venom's home release.

Marvel fans who've already seen the movie know that the post-credits scene has Eddie Brock visiting serial killer Cletus Kasady for an interview in his prison. There, viewers get to see Woody Harrelson tease the appearance of the supervillain, Carnage, another popular symbiote in the Spider-Man Universe.

We can only wonder what Sony added to the extended post-credits sequence. Let's wait and see.
