It looks like Star Wars is getting glamorous new toys from Mattel.
According to Geek Tyrant, the multinational toy manufacturing and entertainment company just recently unveiled a new line of Star Wars-inspired Barbie dolls, and the merchandise looks glories. Inspired by the original concept art created for Disney’s Star Wars sequel trilogy, the Star Wars x Barbie collection offers a fashionable reimagining of iconic Star Wars characters.
Young Star Wars fans can now play with stylish versions of a Stormtrooper, Rey, C-3PO, and Chewbacca. The characters don’t necessarily look like themselves – it would be odd to see C-3PO wearing women’s clothes. Instead, Mattel offers dolls that take elements from these Star Wars icons.

Mattel’s new Star Wars x Barbie collection is just one of the many merchandises being offered this week. Star Wars fans celebrated May the Fourth back on Monday with new Star Wars merch from major toy companies like Hasbro and Mattel and Star Wars merch ranged from Baby Yoda plush toys to new Star Wars figures.
That’s not all of course. Lucasfilm helped Star Wars fans celebrate by offering exciting news. Not only did the studio confirm reports of Russian Doll director Leslye Headland’s new Star Wars series for Disney+, but the studio also revealed that Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi had been hired to direct a brand new Star Wars movie.
It’s certainly been a busy week for Star Wars fans, that’s for sure.
