Star Wars: Episode IX Jungle Planet Is Not Endor After All

Lucasfilm may be trying its best to keep Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's secrets under wraps while the film has yet to release, but it looks like new information about the movie continues to leak online.

Thanks to new posters and new merchandise, Star Wars fans got to learn new things about the different characters set to appear in Episode IX. A new poster revealed that Zorri Bliss (Kerri Russell) would be an ally of the Resistance despite earlier assumptions that she would side with the First Order. New toys revealed two new aliens that could potentially play important roles in the movie.

Today, we've finally learned the official name of the jungle planet that the Resistance is going to use as a new base in The Rise of Skywalker.

A Star Wars fan just recently shared a new image on the Star Wars leaks subreddit showcasing the latest version of Star Wars Monopoly. The game seems innocent enough, but the board includes a spot for a planet being called Ajan Kloss and the place looks quite similar to the jungle planet that we've seen in the teaser trailers for The Rise of Skywalker.

Not only do we get to see the Resistance base, but we get to see a jungle background as well. This means that fan theories posing a return to Endor were false. Fans were thinking that Episode IX would take viewers back to Endor after seeing the remains of the Death Star in the first teaser for the film. Turns out, the jungle base is an entirely new planet after all.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
