Hollywood A-lister Keanu Reeves has always been low-key internet popular, however, the Matrix trilogy actor has seen quite a resurgence in fame this year after appearing in films like John Wick 3, Always Be My Maybe, and Toy Story 4. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also recently revealed that the studio has tried luring Reeves into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for quite some time and now it looks like fans are hoping to see the actor take on the role of Moon Knight in Marvel's Cosmic Universe.
Fans aren't the only ones too. Moon Knight artist Bill Sienkiewicz also wants to see Reeves become the MCU's Marc Spector. Taking to Twitter, the Marvel artist tries to break down some of the reasons why Reeves would be perfect for the role, saying that the John Wick star would probably nail down each of Moon Knight's different personalities.
"Keanu would nail every one of MK's alternate personalities; chill enough to be Lockley the cabby-or Lyft driver? (because f Uber), suave enough to pull off billionaire Grant, cold & cruel enough to nail the merc Spector, inscrutably badass enough to bring Moon Knight home," Sienkiewicz wrote.
For those who aren't familiar with the character, Marc Spector is a former marine and CIA agent who later on became Moon Knight after an encounter with the Egyptian god Khonshu during a fatal mission in Egypt. Restored to life, Spector gained superhuman powers that grow stronger the fuller the moon. One of Moon Knight's most notable characteristics is his multiple personalities which renders him resistant to a few psychic attacks and helps him receive prophetic visions.
