Marvel Star Mark Ruffalo Encourages Everyone to Wear a Mask

Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo has taken it upon himself to encourage fans and followers to wear a mark in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking to Twitter, Marvel actor Mark Ruffalo shared a black and white picture of himself wearing a mask, explaining why it's necessary for him to do so while the world continues to battle with the novel coronavirus. Ruffalo has one and simple reason for wearing a mask whenever he's outside, and that's because "I care about other people around me."

Ruffalo isn't the first to encourage netizens to wear masks. Last month, COVID survivor Tom Hanks took a moment to remind people to do their part in battling the novel coronavirus during a press conference to promote his new film, Greyhounds. Last month, Hugh Jackman also shared art of Wolverine promoting masks. Jurassic World star and Star Wars: The Mandalorian episode director Bryce Dallas Howard has also been promoting mask-wearing by showing off her classic Jurassic Park mask.

It seems like celebrities have been using their platform to help remind everyone the best way to combat COVID.

In other Marvel news, Ruffalo has officially been signed on to reprise his role as Hulk in Marvel's upcoming She-Hulk Disney+ series. Marvel has yet to offer updates for the series, however, there's been talk about the studio hoping to cast an actress like Alison Brie as Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner's cousin.

She-Hulk is set to premiere on Disney+.
