Marvel Reportedly in Talks to Have Chris Evans Return to the MCU

Marvel may have ended Captain America's journey by allowing Steve Rogers to return into time to spend the rest of his life with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) in the final act of Avengers: Endgame, however, there are reports saying that the studio is planning to have Chris Evans return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to the latest report by We Got This Covered, sources who claim to be close to the Marvel say that the studio is planning to bring back Chris Evans into the MCU. While most fans believe that the actor could make an appearance in Marvel's The Falcon and Winter Soldier Disney+ series as Old Man Rogers, the site says that Marvel is planning to bring back Steve Rogers in his prime.

While we doubt that Marvel is going to have Captain America play the same role that he's had in the MCU the past ten years, we can see Steve Rogers appearing in a flashback or in a time-travel sequence in a future Marvel movie.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness plans to explore the many universes in the MCU – maybe Captain America could appear in the film? Or, maybe we could see the character make an appearance in Marvel's upcoming Loki Disney+ series, a project which is going to have Loki explore different timelines in the MCU. There's a lot of room for Captain America to appear in either of these two Marvel projects.
