There's been a lot of confusion over HBO Max's streaming system. It's only been two weeks since Warner Brothers launched the streaming site, but it seems like HBO Max already has a few movies set to leave the platform on July 1. This includes fifteen different DC comic movies like Tim Burton's Batman films starring Joel Schumacher and DC Extended Universe entries like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, and Justice League.
Will these films be out of HBO Max forever once they leave in July?
Not exactly. HBO Max just recently sent a statement over to the Observer to clarify their roster system, and it looks like the streaming site plans to feature a rotating lineup of movies from DC.
"We have a collection of DC films that will rotate on the platform. We have a new batch coming in July and then another batch coming in August. And I have just confirmed that the batch that is on right now will be returning," the statement reads.
That means that DC fans don't have to worry missing out on films. Once a DC movie like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice leaves HBO Max, it may very well return two months or so.
The big question though is when these movies might return. Will the movies be out of the streaming platform for two months, or for three? Will they be rotating for half a year? Let's hope that HBO Max addresses these concerns next.
