Chris Evans Shares His Favorite Captain America Moment Before Avengers: Endgame

Now that Captain Marvel's at its fourth week in cinemas, all eyes are turned towards one of the most highly anticipated films of the year – Avengers: Endgame. Closing out Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Endgame serves as the culmination of the last decade of the franchise.

Reflecting his time in the MCU, Captain America star Chris Evans opens up and talks about his favorite scene as Marvel's Steve Rogers in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Though some might probably expect Evans to say that he loved so many of his scenes as Cap that he just can't ever decide, the actor actually has one favorite Captain America moment – the Elevator fight scene from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

"I'm partial to that fight scene in the elevator," Evans told the publication, "That was the first scene in the second Captain America movie. It was my first time working with the Russos. It was the first time where it felt like Cap was on his own. The first cap movie, you really feel like everyone was holding my hand. The first Avengers movie I just did my best not to get in the way. The second Cap movie is the one where I really felt, I suppose pressure, and that first elevator fight scene came out really great in my opinion."

Evans isn't the only one. The elevator sequence in The Winter Soldier also became a quick favorite among Steve Roger's fans. In fact, many consider the scene as one of the best fight sequences in the franchise.
