Therese Nielsen's Original Magic: The Gathering Painting For Liliana, Untouched By Death is Now Being Auctioned

Earlier this month, the Magic: The Gathering exclusive Planeswalker cards for this year's San Diego Comic-Con were revealed, and they all feature stunning artworks by one of Magic's beloved artists, Therese Nielsen. The five cards in the Timeless Legends set were designed to explore the ties that bind the present Dominaria Planeswalkers to legends of the past, and while they all look great, personally, I think Liliana, Untouched by Death is the best. Now, Nielsen's original painting is up for auction on eBay, so if you want to bid for it, check it out now.

With two days remaining, the current bid is at $14,800!

I would love to own that piece of awesome artwork! I'm sure it will probably sell for more than $20,000. Her Eternal Masters Force of Will painting sold for $21,000 so this will probably sell around that price.

Here's the full artwork from Wizards of the Coast:

Earlier this year, Carl Critchlow's original Magic artwork for Archbound Ravager was sold for $45,200. While the bid for Nielsen's Liliana art is nowhere close to that, I think her Planeswalker artwork looks more beautiful than that Artifact Creature.
