The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Book Will Be Released in December


If you want to know how the new generation of spectacular Star Wars characters, creatures, and worlds have come to life, there's a new book called The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming this December, and it will tell us the story.

The book, written by Phil Szostak, that shows us a behind-the-scenes look at the earliest gathering of artists and production designers at Lucasfilm headquarters in San Francisco to the fever pitch of production at Pinewood Studios to the conclusion of postproduction at Industrial Light & Magic. It also features exclusive interviews with the entire creative team. The book features hundreds of beautiful works of art that include production paintings, concept sketches, storyboards, blueprints, and matte paintings. It will be released on the same day the movie arrives in U.S. theaters, December 18. (via Starwars.com)
