The MMORPG of Star Wars: The Old Republic has been in the game industry for quite a long time already as it celebrates its 10th year anniversary and this time, it will be a blast as BioWare, the developer of the game, announced on StarWars.com that it will be having a major expansion kicking off an exciting new part of the game, to the dark side: Legacy of the Sith.

Star Wars: The Old Republic was made in 2008 by BioWare and it has been made available on PC in 2011. As it celebrates its 10th year anniversary, the Legacy of the Sith will be a continuation of the storyline of the game and players can go all out on a military campaign so they can acquire the aquatic planet of Manaan to be able to be in their faction as they try to unravel the dark plan of the renegade Sith, Darth Malgus.

The major expansion will include new combat styles which will be featuring a blending of class abilities and tons of quality-of-life upgrades. The new combat styles will enable the players to independently choose their preferred class story and have it added to the sets of other Force-wielding classes. There would also be a revamped character-creation system which will give a wider range of customization.

The expansion, Legacy of the Sith, will be available this holiday season for PC through Steam and SWTOR.com so make sure to stay up to date on the major update, and also, happy 10th anniversary, Star Wars: The Old Republic!
