Star Wars: Director Confirms That Joseph Gordon-Levitt Will Be In The Last Jedi

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has actually appeared in all of Rian Johnson's movies from Brick to Looper, and Johnson has confirmed that his longtime collaborator will also be making a cameo in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

While promoting the release of The Last Jedi in Japan (via Star Wars News Net), Johnson has confirmed that Gordon-Levitt will be doing a small voice role as an alien in the movie. With a high-profile actor like Daniel Craig making a cameo in The Force Awakens, it looks like The Last Jedi will be doing the same thing as well.

Interestingly enough, Tom Hardy, who starred in Inception and The Dark Knight Rises alongside Gordon-Levitt, has also been rumored to have a cameo in the film as a stormtrooper. Of course, we don't know if any of this will actually come true, so we'll just have to wait and see when The Last Jedi comes out.

We don't have an official synopsis for the movie yet, but we do know that Rey will spend a good part of the film training with Luke, and Finn will be having his own adventure alongside newcomer Rose Tico.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters Dec. 15.
