Spider-Man Homecoming, Thor Ragnarok Directors Troll Twitter With Teased Spidey Appearance

Who else will be appearing in which Marvel movie? It seems that even the directors of the solo hero movies are still deciding amongst themselves.

In a trollish move for fans, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi and Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts took to Twitter to have a funny public conversation to confirm who's appearing in what.

The series of tweets above sees Watts asking first if Spidey will be needed on the set of Thor: Ragnarok. Apparently he needs a heads-up, since the Spider-Man: Homecoming shooting is in Atlanta, while Waititi's crew is in New Zealand.

This is certainly a nice touch between directors, and even the fans are in on the fun. Already, funny GIFs from both past Thor and Spiderman films are being thrown left and right, all in agreement of Watt's and Waititi's humor.

What's even funnier is one fan's speculation. Given Watts' homage to the scene in Se7en with his emotional Brad Pitt's GIF, @FlyingLovelyDog dropped the big question:

"Are you saying Pepper Potts is in Thor: Ragnarok?"

Raise your hand if you got that reference.

Thor: Ragnarok is set to arrive in theaters on Oct. 25, 2017. Spider-Man: Homecoming is debuting a little earlier on July 7, 2017.
