Earlier this week, the home release date of Rogue One: A Star Wars Storywas reportedly revealed thanks to a Best Buy pre-order listing, but now it's official: The Star Wars Show and Starwars.com announced today that Gareth Edwards' standalone film will be released on Digital HD on March 24 and Blu-ray on April 4. This news comes on the heels of the beginning of production announcement of the untitled Han Solo-focused prequel film.

Rogue One will also be available in Disney Movies Anywhere on March 24. and on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, DVD and On-Demand on April 4. The release also comes with never-before-seen bonus content that will show behind-the-scenes look at the cast and team of filmmakers as well as hidden Easter eggs, and intimate collection of stories that reveals how the movie came to life.
