Rocket League Xbox Arrives Next Week with Free DLC Packs

Rocket League will be arriving on Xbox One next week.

In an official statement, Psyonix Vice President Jeremy Dunham said the multiplayer game will be released on Wednesday, February 17. The Xbox release will come with three free DLC packs - Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run. It's priced at $19.99.

The DLCs mean more cars as well as customization items. Players are certainly going to have a field day. In addition to the DLC packs, Xbox One players will be given Xbox-centric cosmetics such as exclusive vehicles based on Gears of War and Sunset Overdrive.

Despite the Xbox version not having cross-play functionality as compared to PS4 and PC versions, Rocket League still has an 11 million strong player base. With its addictive nature and a unique racing and soccer mashup, it looks like fans of the game will only continue to grow.
