NetherRealm's Injustice 2 is already out, but that doesn't mean there aren't any more characters coming to the game. The developers promise a whole bunch of DLC characters, and a new trailer has been released for one of the first DLC fighters — The Red Hood a.k.a. Jason Todd.
As you can see, Todd comes with some classic Robin moves, but he's added a little something more to his style — freakin' guns. Like every other Robin, Todd still uses good ol' batarangs during fights, and he has gauntlets that could stand in for Nightwing's electrically charged escrima sticks.
Comic fans will remember Jason Todd as the boy who took the Robin mantle after Dick Grayson became Nightwing, and he was tragically killed by the Joker with a crowbar. Todd was then brought back to life by the Ra's Al Ghul's Lazarus Pit, and he became the vigilante known as Red Hood. He's pretty much like Batman except he "finishes the job" if you know what I mean.
I have no idea why they thought Todd should assume an alias that his killer had previously assumed, though. These DC writers I tell ya.
The Red Hood is a DLC character for Injustice 2 which is available now.
