Written and illustrated by Sun Takeda, Gleipnir is a manga series serialized in Kodansha's seinan manga magazine called Young Magazine the 3rd. As of May 2021, it can be collected in ten tankobon volumes. Kodansha Comics has a license to release the manga in North America. It was then adapted into an anime by Pine Jam and made its premiere in April 2020.
The story is about Shuichi Kagaya, a normal high school student who can transform into a monster, more like a giant dog mascot with a cartoonish smile. One day, he meets Claire Aoki and saved her from a warehouse fire. The two decide to team up to look for Claire's older sister.
