Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump in February 2016, and the Japanese manga lasted until November 2020. Its popularity worldwide made Viz Media publish the manga in English and even simulpublished by Shueisha.
On August 3, 2021, Amazon.com is set to release the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Vol 23. This is the final volume of the manga that has an additional 14 pages and 25 pages of bonus content.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 23 Cover
Since the English version of Vol 23 hasn't been released yet, the cover is still not available online. But based on the previous English volumes that were released, the cover will look exactly like the Japanese version but the text will be changed to English.
The Japanese version of Volume 23 was first released in November 2020 in a tweet by Kimetsu no Yaiba's official Twitter account.
The cover is Tanjiro and Nezuko with full smiles on their faces. The cover alone can give a lot of theories as to how the battle against Muzan is going, especially for the siblings.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 23 Plot
When Demon Slayer ended, it was actually during the height of its popularity. While the timing caused a bit of debate among fans, it seems like supporters of the manga are happy with how it ended.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows Tanjiro Kamado whose family was murdered by a demon named Muzan Kibutsuji. While Tanjiro's little sister, Nezuko, survives, she has been transformed into a demon. Tanjiro is now set to find a way to make his sister back to being a human and destroy Muzan for killing his family.
The last volume focused on the battle between the Demon Slayer corps and Muzan. It was the most-awaited interaction throughout the series. Even better, the last volume contains supplementary parts that fans should not miss:
- Two sets of eight and six pages that were cut from the original serialization (which will be reinserted into various chapters)
- Four pages of new illustrations
- Eight pages of special new manga
- A two-page afterword
- Eleven pages of pencil illustrations between chapters
- Adorable four-panel comic
With all of these, the volume is expected to have 232 pages in total. Those who haven't bought the Japanese manga would be curious as to what these bonus chapters contain and will have to wait until August 2021 to find the answers.
