Since season one of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, it was established that Zenitsu likes Nezuko. It was not surprising because of Nezuko's cute looks, but it was unexpected because Zenitsu is scared of demons.
Whenever he sees her, he would call her in a cute tone and tell her how adorable she is for him. There were also times when he would ask her to marry him (a very typical Zenitsu). Zenitsu's hard work paid off by the end of the series. It was seen that Nezuko and Zenitsu did end up together through their descendants. Two siblings look exactly the same as the couple. It is a bit sad that we really didn't see how it happened, but just this confirmation is enough for those who are shipping Nezuko and Zenitsu together.
The interesting thing is that Nezuko didn't really like Zenitsu at first. She thinks he is a "weird dandelion" and is far from liking him. This did not stop Zenitsu of course and continued to treat her with care and affection.
During the time when Zenitsu told her stories, Nezuko would move or scratch her box, giving Zenitsu the response that she was enjoying his stories. Fans believe that this could be the start of their good relationship. While most see their closeness as friendship, it was later revealed that it could be more after Nezuko became human again.
She got a flashback of her time as a Demon and remembered the time when Zenitsu gave her flowers. By the end of the series, it was seen that she, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke continued to live together. It could also be during this time that their feelings towards each other developed.
