Pokémon Quest is Coming to Mobile Devices Next Week

When Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee were both announced, Nintendo also launched a free-to-play game called Pokemon Quest on the Nintendo Switch. It's a decent enough RPG that has pay-to-win elements but fans who are aware of that should have a good time with the title regardless. The game was also slated for mobile devices but no release date was announced, well, until now that is.

If you go to the Apple Store or Google Play, you can actually search for the game and see that pre-registration is available. The pages also reveal when Pokemon Quest will be coming to smartphones and mobile devices; June 28.

So yeah, those curious about the latest free-to-play Pokemon mobile game won't have to wait too long to try it out since it's coming to phones fairly soon. Nintendo Switch players have been having a good time with the title since it has already been downloaded two million times. Expect that number to increase when the game hits mobile devices.

The game has players explore an island and do research on various Pokemon. After choosing a starter, players will be able to recruit more monsters and take over areas in action-packed missions for "research." It's a cheap and easy way to see Pokemon you like battling other creatures, though the core RPGs are still better.

Pokemon Quest is available now on the Switch. The game hits mobile devices next week.
