Pokémon GO: Plusle and Minun Are No Longer Region-Exclusive

Pokemon GO continues to be a huge hit for Niantic and mobile players have been enjoying the new content that has been provided. From new Hoenn Pokemon to EX Raids, there is a lot of stuff to do now, especially when compared to launch. It looks like developers are going to do something that pleases the masses by making Plusle and Minun available for everyone, meaning they're no longer region-exclusive.

When Hoenn Pokemon were first released, Plusle would only spawn in North America, South America, and Africa, while Minun only spawned in Asia, Europe, and Australia. That is not the case anymore, as a Tweet from the official Pokemon GO page has confirmed that the two monsters can now be caught worldwide.

Both Pokemon should be common enough for players to catch, so they can finally pair the two monsters up. It's not yet clear if this will be a permanent move or if Niantic will rotate who the region-exclusive monssters are. Kangaskhan, Snorlax, and Farfetch'd were the first region-exclusives when the game launched, so here is hoping they become available to everyone else as well.

Pokemon GO is available for download now.
