Zack Snyder's Justice League Teaser Reveals New Look at Deathstroke

We're getting more teasers for Zack Snyder's Justice League and that means more footage from the film is finally being revealed. The latest teaser for the Snyder Cut reveals a new look at Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke as well as Darkseid and Joker.

The teaser opens with Darkseid contemplating his next move. Although the audio is not clear, it sounds like the supervillain is eager to turn "one hundred thousand worlds to dust" as he takes revenge on those who robbed him of his glory.

Later in the teaser, we see a longer version of the scene where Joker is sitting on the hood of a car. Interestingly, he is shown holding a Joker card and in the same scene, there is a brief glimpse of Slade Wilson.

The cool thing about this scene is that they both appear to be in the same Knightmare sequence with Batman. Could this mean that we're seeing the Deathstroke and Joker of the dystopian future in the Snyder Cut? We can't wait to see it all go down next week.

There is little doubt that Deathstroke is the one character that fans have been expecting to join the DCEU. Although the antihero has appeared in TV shows and animated films, Slade has yet to get into the big screen. Fans were understandably disappointed when Manganiello was reduced to a cameo in the Justice League theatrical cut so we're expecting more screentime for Slade in the Snyder Cut.

The synopsis for the Snyder Cut reads as follows:

"In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman's (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.
"The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.
"Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions."

Zack Snyder's Justice League will premiere on HBO Max and various streaming services around the world on March 18.
